What to do on Tybee Rainy Days | Tybee Island | Georgia This is about a recent vacation of someone other than me.

The bed was so hard I could not sleep Upon a couch I spent a week When the sun wasn't out It was dark, gray and dreary The wind whipped from the north So weary The food wasn't very good The bacon cheap And the bread stale The grits were dry, hard and coarse Oh, well The seas birds were quiet And I was hoarse All in all, I guess It was grand plan I held hands with my man

Bill, I think holding hands makes up for all that went bad, but that is my opinion. LOL..Your visit was delightful. Sara K

When we are on a vacation we expect a jolly time with nice food and accommodation. If our experience is just contrary to what we have been dreaming, our mind will sink into despair. This sounds a bad vacation. However it has given you a topic to write a beautiful poem... dear Sara.

Kim, it wasn't my vacation, but I have had a few that were unpleasant. Sometimes some bad things happen when one is supposed to be having the greatest time. Thanks for the visit. Sara K
