All I Have Left

All I Have Left (Is What You Left Behind) By Gayle Jeanine Haven© What I have left Is a memory Of the kiss I always wanted Accompanied By the touch of a man’s hand Worn by sun and work Gentled By the feel of a woman’s cheek That was mine. What I have left Is the feeling Of a man’s breath that catches And holds To be exhaled in a slow heated rush To mingle with mine Against Joined lower lips That become a resting place For a moment Speaking again and again In silent insistent kisses That wanted mine. All I have left Is the whisper Of what you left behind.
