All Hallow's Eve Night
All Hallow's Eve is quite an eery night to be out past dark
I wouldn't be caught dead taking a walk through the park
So I stayed inside my house to keep myself safe from harm
When I heard the strangest sound, I shuddered with alarm
Coming from the cellar, my eyes were focused on the door
My heart skipped a beat, a deep voice bellowed "nevermore"
Slowly the knob turned, suddenly I couldn't catch my breath
Thoughts ran wild in my mind, was this to end in my death
Fearful of demise, I closed my eyes, then covered my head
Unable to believe my ears when a most familiar voice said
"Pam! Those damn raccoons were down in the cellar again!"
I thought for a moment there I'd died and gone to heaven
Peering through these fear stricken fingers, who did I see
None other than my husband and he was laughing at me
He then peeled me off the floor, and he held me oh so tight
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it, Happy Halloween night!
