All Hallows Eve
The moon hides itself in a darkening sky
This is the night that the ghoulish will fly
The corpse from the graveyard, the ghost to the stair
From long buried memories they're suddenly there
Beware of the darkness, it carries a threat
Of some hideous creature you haven't yet met
With long bony fingers and skeletal limbs
It's going to add terror to its lifetime of sins
Light all the candles and lock every door
Listen intently for the telltale roar
Of a soul in a frenzy on this Halloween night
No use in cowering or trying to fight
The goblins will find you, you can't run away
Remember the creatures will be gone the next day
There's nothing to do when the monsters appear
But pull out the peanuts and drink a cold beer
