All Alice Wanted

All Alice wanted Was to retrieve The slipper of glass Birth a beautiful boy Cry carefree, caring incautiously Do dangerous things, drive daringly Endure every broken heart easily Freely fly away from failure Gain nothing by giving graciously Help heal others hearts Ignore inflammatory implications Live with long lasting love Make love to many men Plan nothing, please plenty To have taken away The troubles that tore terribly That’s all Alice wanted
