A steamy mug of chai to tackle my " to do list " | Subasri Pillai ...

old words tremble on callow lips pinched off like poison from a rose and dripped upon the breeze ... your breath mixed with morning's stirred with my own, like honeyed chai yet spiced with argument ... rehashed Written and submitted on May 27, 2020 For the "Hexastitch It" Poetry Contest Nette Onclaud, Sponsor. Nice write G, I enjoy everything well, almost everything you write. These short writes are a challenge for me but you...fine sir can do wonders with such few words callow, honey'd chai tea, too bad about the rehash. Congrats on another win!

Thanks, Buddy, the shorter forms challenge me as well, but they are good practice for maximizing word power and phrasing. Blessings, Bro! :o)

As soon as the first line is read, it is with absolute confidence I know this had to be a winner. Such delicate imagery reflecting strong emotions and the twist. I love the "honeyed chai" reference. Congratulations on your win Greg! :)

"Spiced with argument - rehashed". Ouch, bummer of a way to spend a morning. Your talent shines through with any subject, in every form, Bard. Better brew up a new pot of chai... Congratulations on your win ~ John
