Oh, what a splendid piece of verse! This remarkable creation, Sara. has left me in awe. I am particularly captivated by the unique structure of the kite-shaped poem, a truly ingenious choice. Congratulations on your contest win.

Well done dear Sara...! You are indeed an expert in Shape poems. You are right too. Winter is not the time to fly a kite. Summer, when it is breezy is the time for it. If this is for a contest, I am sure you'll be a winner! All the Best.

Why, thank you, Valsa. I don't think I entered it in a contest or at least I can't remember if I did. LOL..Bad memory like Biden. Sara K

Very impressive, Sara. Your shape poems show exceptional skill + grand content. Metaphorically, to fly a kite is to embrace soaring freedom. Best wishes, Brian

Thank you, Brian, for the information about the meaning of using a kite as a metaphor. Well, I was talking about flying a kite in this cold weather when it is still to early even though the sun is out to fly a kite. LOL..Your visit was delightful. Sara K

As the song goes in Mary Poppins: go fly a kite. Difficult to make shapes but you did it well.

Yes, for some reason this one just doesn't want to stay where I put it. I guess I did something wrong at the set up so I will just leave it alone and try again sometime. Sara K

Very nice, Sara. I'm with you. I told my kite to go fly itself --- until at least mid-April. lol.

Cool shape, Sarah. Funny though, what if winter is great for making the kite soar? I'm not going to find out either.

I think that it would soar in some of this wind we have been having but if it were a paper kite it would melt away in all the rain. Thanks for stopping by. Sara K
