Again I Say

~ I'm not going to say want you want me to say And jeopardize my vision and words portrayed As I sift through the sands to find the buried treasure Your rhyme not necessary for my dream to carry So if for a moment you ponder and dream The twisted enjambment has worked yet it seems And if your thinking for just a mere second You need a painted flower to birth a new seed Then let me leave you with a dream and a vision a smile and some laughter to fulfill a constant need A cloud A rain drop A posy of belief With red, blue and violet intrigue _______ As I rest upon my rusting porch swing Alone With you.... Again I say.... ~ 09-03-2016

One's muse can be found anywhere and most often on the porch swing. Well done and congrats on your win. Kathy

This is very beautiful Rick! Your work is always so unique. This is very deserving of the top spot. Congratulations! (Typo in the first line.) I seem to always miss my own but catch others. : ) 7

Rick, I enjoyed the 'outside the box' place where you took the theme. Congratulations on your fine podium placement on this short winner's list! Sandra

Rick, it's not good to argue with the muse. Thanks for participating in the contest. I really enjoyed this one.
