Again Her Will See
Again Her Will See
While I was running on a long gauntlet
Did see what appeared to be a lance lit
By sun which had been reflecting on
Then few seconds later reflection was gone.
Although I was somewhat rather inept
His challenge now was willing to accept
By throwing my grey glove into the ring
Hearing fighters who had started to sing.
Horse was gallant preferring to prance
While I carried a sword and long lance
Which bore the scarf of a loved one
Just before big battle had begun.
On anyone hope not to be an imposition
If I were never in a proper position
We had come to commit battle in a field
First before God we all silently kneeled.
Give us much courage without despair
Help so all of the pain we can bare
And if at end I happen and do die
Take me to heaven high in the sky.
God, help loved one I have left behind
Let her be safe with much peace of mind
My beautiful bride who He meant for me
In heaven again her I surely will see.
