Every moment with you is a memory created, A memory warming my belly. Makes my heart skip a beat, makes my arms flop around, Turns my entire little mind into jelly. When you massage my head or laugh for no reason, When you lay your head down in my lap. I cherish those memories in a beautiful corner, Those memories I store in gift wrap. But I fear those memories will be all that I have, Just memories in a corner of dust. I fear when you decide to go your own way, My love will turn slowly to rust. Those memories, in gift wrap, I’ll look after and taste, Those memories, in me, will live on. No one else will ever do little things that you do, No one, after you and your love have gone.

Finding a new love is like replacing the lead singer in a band. It never quite sounds the same. I enjoyed the read, Lewis.
