After It's Over

The light has dimmed one can barely make it out through the murky waters Our time is over we must move on to make way for the next generation Cherished hopes fade as leaves change from green to crimson and fall onto the fields and the pavement Let's not despair We had our moment in the sun Now it's time for others to have their turn One spin of the wheel and it's over Rainclouds form in the sky The sun is no longer shining on us Let's take shelter quickly So other actors can take the stage
