Afraid of One Self
You may fear other people
but not yourself do you?
how can you be so?
it's you no need to stew
But within that real inside
down there where emotions lie
you've got what brings fear
wishing they would all die
The result is a different person
than what should be there
instead of confidence and hope
you've been caught in a snare
What if I let myself out
not caring of the effect
but then pieces would break
so many to collect
Better just play safe
not take even a chance
it's better doing it that way
or else escape to France
