When i grow up im gonna be just like you is what he said, And no matter what that thought couldnt be changed in his head, Im gonna dress and do everything you've done he preached, And no matter how hard nothing else could be teached, He used to say im gonna copy everything and follow the exact same street, Seeing and meeting all the same things you had to meet, Everyone knew my life had been long and hard, Unsuccessfully they tried to keep his mimicking of me barred, Knowing it would lead him to where he is now in the ground, He would of never made it living in the conditions id been around, It was a one in a million chance for me living like i did to make it through, For some reason he envied my lifestyle and thought he could do it too
