Adieu to Summers Scorching heat and shimmering sunlight, Baked you perfect, yet a zestful delight, Purposeful longer days, there was much to do, Sweaty nights of summers, bid them adieu, Crispy dry leaves now racing on road, Majestic scenic beauty can anyone hoard? Dear Dr. Upma, how well you describe both the pleasure and the heat of summer. We don't really have much "fall" weather here. It was a 100 degrees yesterday. I wish I could take a walk with you to see the "yellow and orange" replace the greenery. Best wishes in the contest! I know how busy work keeps you, so thank you for sending a poem to Karen.
