Addiction

Thoughts are whirling in my head. Some good and some I dread. Feelings of hopelessness and feelings of irritation plague my every being. I get caught up and lost in these wicked thoughts. Turning to my addiction has made me want it more. But can I stop?

Sometimes when we "admit" the floodgates to recovery open. "Openly examine and confess my faults to God, to myself, and to someone I trust." I like the simpleness of the poem, despite it's complexity. I feel like you are close to "Blessing and Releasing" this to the only one that can take this from you, and give you freedom. No longer in bondage. Former sexual addict to pornography. Thomas

Thomas, Thank you. This addiction comes and goes with me but I do know with God's help I can get through it. Thank you for sharing!

Self perpetuation en flames the situation. The cookie jar, the fancy car keep feeding infatuation. A sense of peace needs to increase to ward off past perceptions. For life's no good when we are left to our own preconceptions. Peace. :)
