Adapt

It's time for me to relax and adapt To all the things, I've packed on my plate, Get down to brass tax Overcome and advance Know the stuff that just can't Ever be, left to chance Gotta learn to take it slow I've been rushing around For so Long if it's not full speed Its hard for me to know which pace to go I get so, easily bored And it's hard to conform To what society see's as normalcy And to be totally honest I don't give two s**** About what the Jones be Doing next door to me, I'm just Trying to decomplicate The way i operate Stop sweating the small stuff By the time my cars parked I may have sweated out 10 pounds of water weight I gotta stay, in it for the long haul My rock star mentality Just became to damaging To me and truthfully How much savagery can i keep Mananging without it being a problem It's time for me to relax and adapt To all the things, I've packed on my plate, Get down to brass tax Overcome and advance Know the stuff that just can't Ever be left to chance I'd say it's, time for an agonizing Re-evaluation of the whole situation Before it all falls down like precipitation And gets me tripping on folks, Feet losing  grip of the pavement, It's definately challenging Balancing on slippery slopes Gotta learn from your losses Embrace the new challenges you face & Keep makin progress You will always have options God gave you two legs So wouldn't be stuck like a starfish This verse is, iceburg s*** At first it seems small But underneath it all The work that, I've done is quite large But you can't observe it, Because it's submerged beneath the surface When my lights on upstairs I got to make the blinds fall Twist the crap that makes em overlap So it don't blind y'all It's time for me to relax and adapt To all the things, I've packed on my plate, Get down to brass tax Overcome and advance Know the stuff that just can't Ever be left to chance
