Act One:
loop clouds
swimming lusciously, languidly
through a fermented darkness –
so strong it could leave you blind
and hungry for more
the streets defining pavement,
still wind on into the heart
of this addictive stupor
one man stands alone
squinting for the moon
all men stand alone
straining for hope
in the awesomely twisted
crevices of such a night,
clawing their way out
to only insanely benign sun rises;
Sun Sets strewn with extras
just filling a void
in this thickly intoxicating air
Summer’s raining
