Across the Page

Walking a tightrope across my inner self… Dare to look down pass the pages from my shelf… It tells the story of the mind that sits outside my soul… Discolored and torn but the meaning still screams from what is whole… Tiny scars stained by raindrops that never really dried… Washed down my hand and caressed the tears I could never hide… The journey left me crawling for my peace… Onto a table beside a pen I sit and release…
