Aches and Pains
Aches and pains, aches and pains
Is this what old age is about?
What about sailing off into the sunset
Instead we complain about gout
It hasn't been bad at least not for me
Been one of the fortunate ones
Count all my blessings every night
Each morn I welcome the sun
Why me I ask, how come I'm the one
To escape those old age symptoms
Like gall stones, cholesterol, and diabetes
Lived a lifetime most can't fathom
One day, that day will be upon me
Hope the hell it's quick and painless
A sissy I am and I always will be
Perhaps I'll continue to be blessed
