By far the leading cause of desth wordlwide is abortion. That which God decreed as a blessing is often seen as an inconvenient intrusion by man.
God blessed both of Adam kind
with fruitfulness of children.
Now counted millions lead in death,
through troubled thoughts for Adam mind,
not counted blessings born to bless,
but snuffed before first blessing’s breath.
