Abandoned To Alcohol

burning arrows from my heart bottles empty placating dart lies concealed in hidden secret diamonds write in veiled leaflet hide from view all engraved words bury burdens with blurred absurd fill the sky with countless stars appointed bars to hide the scars float your bottles out to sea as alcohol sets solitude free © Kim van Breda—March 2014

Beautiful writing. "Solitude free" and alcohol I understand well. My best, Brian

This is a great symbolic and relative write my friend! I really enjoyed reading your alliteration that you have within your poem, for example, "bury burdens with blurred absurd" that is a very awesome line! Though i have to admit there really isn't a bad line here, you whole poem is tremendous! What a glorious piece, Great Work!!
