A Young Family Prays

Linnie and I are bowing our heads Down at the foot of mom and dad's bed Kneeling and praying to God, up above Talking in earnest, believing His Love. Sharing our worries, our cares and concerns Childlike faith, expressed in our words Momma is listening, a tear in her eye Daddy is quiet, but happy inside. You see, as a family, we all came to Him Together, we shared His peace from within And I know that God smiled down from above For our family was His, and our souls sang His Love. Thanks, Jan. I know it is simple, but it's written from a childlike perspective, and I am thankful that this was true for our family.
