A World Where Nobody Cares

A WORLD WHERE NOBODY CARES I live in a world, Where no one cares. If you live or die, They are unaware. Love another, In the Good Book prose. Too many other things, To worry about those. Forget about God, All that holy stuff. Live each day fully, Life is tough. They pretend to care, Have all the right words. It is all so false, It is what we have heard. They pretend concern, Look at how I care. It is not true, We must be aware. It is the thing to do, Pretend the best. You will not know, Never pass the test. Makes them feel so good, to speak the words. Empty hearts have a way, To be heard. Let the tears flow, No one cares. an empty heart, Nothing is there. RAYMOND V. MORGAN

A strong lament on how the world can be so indifferent and uncaring, a poem written from the heart. In this world the people who hurt us most are those closest to us. The greatest hurt can be caused by the friend we used to trust. I found this verse always true- "My comfort in suffering is this: Your promise preserves m life." (Psalm 119:50) God is Faithful and True, and always with us
