A World of Hypocrites

At the playground today I saw the park manager smoking a cigar, and after a few puffs she squashed it out on the pavement, "You know the dumpster really ain't that far!" I was about to yell but then realized I was feeding the ducklings (of all possible things), while my baby what left neglected and weeping on the swings!

Wise words, Timothy, we can’t change others but can surely look within … best place to begin!

we all have a little bit of hypocrite in ourselves, I think it's because we tend to pretend for what the society wants us to be. Your poem is the another way to show example on it. well written as always.

How very wise Dinda! I think it was Martin Luther King Jr. who once said "Don't ever be afraid to do what you know is right... the marks society will give you is nothing compared to the marks that will be left on your soul"...

We're all of a judgmental sort. You've penned it in an open and honest manner. Good one, Timothy :)

At one time or another - I think that we all have been a little, or a lot hipocrite. The thing is - some of us admit it and some of us don't. Thanks for sharing. Also for your comments....... Lucilla
