A Winter Walk

Warm clothing in mystifying layers Portrait painted by mist and light Naked branches catch the sun Ice crunches underfoot Noisy crows protest Breath ghostly white Squirrels chatter Head home Numb

i simply mean that more beauty could still come out `a winter walk' if u just reviewed it.it`s up to u and more over it`s just an opinion.it `s a great work anyway.

This is superb my friend. I think this maybe my favorite of yours. I am digging the first line immensely, it sets the tone for the rest of the poem. Great job!

I loved this, felt just like a cold winter day! You give a wonderful, clear image from your words. :) I'm glad you liked my "broken branch" haiku, yes, I wanted to give it a little depth, a double meaning. :) Thanks so much for your kind comments, all the best. Love, Amy

I must agree with Kristin. Awesome write here. I am definitely a winter girl, but all we have here today is rain. Sounds like a lovely walk. Love, Shar
