A Winter Poem

A kaleidoscope of tinsel, sparkling silver and gold- Drifts of flakes gather, this warm blanket that I hold. Spectrum of illusions, icicles give such reflection- Our Mother Nature arrives, with her beautiful white complexion. Grandma's warm mittens, made with loving reason- Cherub angels surround, this comforting season. My spades fill with snow, my tree trimmed so bright- The twilit stars shine perfect, this chilly winter night. December 3, 2016
