A Wind That Blows Loneliness

The wind blows softly over the lonely, The suffering think of themselves only. A world of chaos, racism, and turmoil, Utmost egomanias spoil our toil. An old man groans, no decent place to live, Are there relatives? No comfort to give? Blow softly oh lonely wind, they care not, They are comfortable, and all forgot. Somewhere a child is crying his heart out, Can anyone guess what it's all about? Is the child hungry, lost, or cast aside? Much abused, ill-treated, or love denied? There are millions of cries heard on the wind, Alas no one bothers: is man unkind?

Good questions throughout and at the end. Some do care but others do not. Those that care sometimes their hands are tied. Your presence at my page is uplifting. Sara

The wind and the cold uncover bare skinny souls.. tiny weak flesh with no homes.. shrieks of the pain of thirst and hunger.. Nature is ever setting its very regulations to which we abide but many of human beings are more and more stripped of compassion and humanity.. So heartfelt and emotionally awakening to bitter reality.. Wonderful and profound is your poetry, Victor and a great pleasure to read.. My deepest regards and blessings.

- A feeling of loneliness is something everyone experiences to a greater or lesser degree during life - Yet it is not the same for everyone - Some claim that today we live in an "age of loneliness" - A great sonnet, Victor ... but sad - Luck in the contest :) - Have a lovely Monday :) - hugs //Anne-Lise :)

Caring hearts can change the world. Each person has to say, "Let it begin with me." We can only hope the future brings better things. Be blessed, Victor.

So true to real life--these feelings you convey, Victor. Depressing it is to know that winds of change are unkind. All the best!

Sadly it seems mankind has become like that, cares only for himself, selfishness and greed seems to be the norm now. Tom
