A Widow

A widow of a prophet who feared God Came to the strong prophet Elisha With a problem of her creditor's prod He would take her sons; place on docket The widow asked for Elisha's wise help He asked her, "What did she have in the house?" She said, "nothing save a pot that oil held." She was deficient in goods since death of spouse Elisha gave her wise council that day Borrow empty vessels from friends and all Then enter your home, close the door and stay Pour oil until all are filled great and small A Holy Spirit filled widow had faith Her cup was filled 'til overflowed with grace In the Bible Oil can represent the Holy Spirit She was filled with the Holy Spirit for she sought out the Prophet of God for help and not ordinary man.. It was a miracle that happened but also it was an allegory... Based on II Kings 4 I used three different translations of the Bible
