A Whole Creature

The soul is an eternal spirit,
the immaterial part of Man that is immortal.
The spiritual essence of a human being,
the soul, resides within our hearts;
where it guides our conscious thoughts.
The soul is not some form of energy
but instead a Divine link to the Creator;
and the seat of human intellect, will, and individuality.
Emotions are filtered through the soul
for compassion, love, and forgiveness.
God did not create Man and put a soul into Him,
like a battery into a robot.
No, God formed a body from dust,
and then, by breathing Divine Breath into it,
He made that body of dust live;
whereas it became a soul - a whole creature.
