A Void

Where am I at fault? I gave you all weight! Then… You threw your weight around Crushed, depressed my soft ground Till… You could avert and avoid. Now… At last there was a void- . . . A deep one- Into my heart. A void. . . . That drew into its darks Those lovely gleams My precious dreams! I in-hale, I ex-hale From this void . . . I hear sighs and sobs Echo silently In this huge void. . . . I pull myself With strings of prayers And hold it together. Is it time to divert? Can I also avert? And also give you a void?
