A Very Covid Christmas

Santa, Dear Santa, I just wrote to say leave the gifts on the doorstep, stay six feet away. This building's on lockdown, you can't come inside. I asked for an exemption, believe me , I tried. Groups of more than six, ( that's the reindeer and you) are against regulations. Not fair , but it's true. And there may be some fines coming your way as you didn't self quarantine , not for two weeks , or a day. Maybe you should stay home and binge watch T.V. At least that way you'll remain covid-free. It may just be best, Santa, if we give you a list that Amazon can deliver, but just know, you'll be missed.

I can just picture poor Santa binge-watching TV on Christmas. At least he's obeying the guidelines. Love this witty write, Francine! Congratulations on a first-place win. Hugs and best wishes for a merry Christmas, Carolyn
