A Valentines Day

Soon she will remember The throbbing of her heart, Back when the sun shone with Pink and chocolate love. When she and he smiled and melted, Under a Marilyn moon, So many years have travelled Too soon, too soon. He rocks on an old frame rocker The one he painted dark green, Yes, the one where he rocked their babes, To be purposely shown off and seen. And I wish them Happy Valentine’s Day, My dear old Mother and Dad, And all the flowers and goodies, Sweet parents ever had.
