A Valentine Day Bummer
So much is said of true love
And how it is sure to last
I don’t believe all that fluff
I have wisely moved on passed
Love lasts for a short, sweet time
Until he sees the baggage
The one he called a goddess
Has turned into a cabbage
He looks passed the roses red
And sees only prickly thorns
Her halo just seems to slip
And now all he sees are horns
The one who made her heart beat
Now just makes her want to die
All that he see are her faults
No matter how hard she tries
Perhaps I am just morose
I ran out of pills today
Tomorrow may be different
Love might be here to stay!
