A True Mother
O, mother strong and true,
With a heart so bold and pure.
You work each day with love's might,
To bring your children joy and light.
Though hardship fills your weary soul,
You give your all to make them whole.
Your children see your sacrifice,
And know that you are paradise.
Though hunger gnaws, you do not break,
To feed your children, you will make.
So let your tears of sorrow cease,
For heaven sees your sacrifice.
Know that your children's future bright,
Will repay you with joy and light.
