A True Friend's Offer
A True Friend's Offer
Take a seat and rest you weary soul on my stage
matters not your great troubles or age
Cast off those shadows that chase you down
swim in my sea, I'll not let you drown!
Award me the gifts of your anger and grief
size means nothing I can still bring relief
With words of faith and very good cheer
laced with conviction, tis' nothing to fear!
Load me up with scandals, falsely laid upon you
I can easily conquer a dozen or two
So wrap them up, stop your fearful liven'
they will be well received, that is a given!
Why not agree to do what I now so plead
I have blessings ready, that you so greatly need
Look at it as a new start, means to a good end
for are we not equally kind and very good friends!

Note-- True friendship is a treasure often far more valuable that rubies
and gold!
A blessed man is he that can say he truly has even just one
great and true friend!
Some are greatly blessed with more.
