A True Friend
Im not after your money
or to tell you what to do today
im not bothered how much you weigh
or even if you have washed today
where you went on holiday
or what you had for tea
what your favorite record is
or if you watched the news today
what you did at work this day
and if your sweet heart texted back
or whose birthday it was today
im just really glad I have seen you
did my wagging tail give that away
