A Tribute To the Depths of Shakespeare
Doth if not thrill thee, Poet,
Dead and dust though thy art,
To feel how I press thy singing
Close to my heart?
By Richard Le Gallienne

"A Tribute To The Depths Of Shakespeare"
Hath not your words touched my heart
if to entice this weary soul of worry
for a loving blanket in warmth lay comfort
as your misty rain falls near
To paint a picture along side the dreamer
doth not your beauty lilt thy flowing breeze
if only to submerge in love's passion
my soul lest weary
~~
In song
in perfect harmony
with you
along thy winding stream
my soul, triumphant....
