A Tree

I stand as a tree in winter Bare and exposed My branches reaching outward I am not dead But I am cold and alone My emotions racing From the tips of my branches Through the trunk of my heart To the roots of my soul I feel your pain I sense your sadness I fear what you're afraid of I experience your happiness I waver in the breeze I crack from the winds I bare As my leaves blossom I will shade and shelter you I will hide all that is exposed I stand as a tree.... -Mysty Rayn
