A Touch of Wonder and Delight

A touch of wonder and delight make this day very bright A lovers wish or sensual kiss the tender things that I shall miss A child’s smile and twinkling eyes Full of mischief and surprize A flower opening up its petals Precious stones and polished metals Smiley eyes, shinning bright When I whisper something right Deadly silence all around When I’m acting like a clown Romantic lovers on the beach Slowly walking till they reach The splashing sound of the waves Bright white cliffs, old rock caves A sudden burst of joyful laughter Someone running from disaster The lovely smell of fresh cut grass Someone falling on their ass Life is full of joy and pain Teardrops falling in the rain Sudden laughter, sudden death This is it, my last breath What I learned from this life I tried to teach my darling wife It’s the little things that make you happy It’s your turn to change her nappy So just be thankful for what you’ve read Cause tomorrow you might be -------- enjoy your life, but please don’t boast As this was written by a ghost Copyright 25th July 2013
