A Tomb of Tears

Bloody salt pours and I fight for my life. I’ve fought before, but never like this. I’ve died before but never this close to hell. I’ve laughed before but not in years and I’ve mourned before but never this deeply. Seriousness creeps and my smile falls asleep. On the brink of a cliff that leads to the ground of never more. Feel me in the breeze but please break my heart- I am searching for pain to feel again. I am numb from loss and never again shall I reveal your innocence. I hit my head with my hand again- I lay in shock about what my life has sadly become. I needed the thirst of your love and the loss of you craving me has dug me a grave. A tomb of tears from all the yesteryears- December 31, 2016
