A Thanksgiving Prayer
A Thanksgiving Prayer
Thank you for the ones now present,
Hope and pray for those who are lost,
And thank you for this bounty given,
Never forgetting some will not eat today.
Knowing that your arms surround us
Safe at this table we humbly pray.
Thank you for your loving kindness
Only by your hand do we survive.
Help those in turmoil find the way.
In all of this we give our thanks, and
May HE bless all mankind this day.
Amen.
