A Sweet Serenade
Is it your voice I hear
or raindrops splashing
a summer's garden
refreshing butterflies.
Was it your breath
tickling my ear or the
winds of May making
flowers dance.
Was it your smile or
the sun all aglow, warming
my heart to contentment, then
resting at my feet.
Is it love, dancing inside me
or your kiss, touching every
moveable part of me.
I think it is all the pure
wonder you bring to my life.
