A Sunrise Randomling

The sky lightens, as in His Presence, I stand and watch the morning unfold its colors, while the breath of God inflates a large, luminous orange balloon. ------------------------------------------- Two other separate poems: Randomling: TV Weather Forecast I listened to the weather man: Dark clouds are gathering... Rain before noon. Take your umbrella. I listened to my heart: The sun is shining in here You won't need your umbrella. --------------------------------------- Randomling: Relationships IF broken in places IF in need of repair IF the stubborn boulder won't budge IF love has dried up like a rocky stream. Start digging. Then shovel deeper. Find a well Overflowing love. ______________________________ Note: What are Randomlings? To me, they are short poems, sometimes with a creative twist ending. They are expanded thoughts that hopefully others will identify with. They are like messages in a bottle. They are whatever you want them to be. .

Thanks, njeri, and I must get over to visit you and see what new poems you have been writing these last few days. It has been so hot here in So. Ca. that I was not on the computer for a few days because of health problems. But I am recovering. Blessings, Darlene

I truly enjoy your faith-filled poems. Your attitude towards Our Father and your style are both inspiring and reminders. I have written several faith poems that I haven't posted yet. I think you'll enjoy them just as I'm uplifted by yours. These remarks are for all your poems that I've read so far which is many. In time, I'll read them all. CayCay

Hi, CayCay, I'm delighted to hear you've been reading my poems and that you are uplifted by them. That is one of the main reasons I write poetry, to share the love of God and the good news of the Bible with others. And I will certainly read yours once you share them with us on the Soup. Let's keep in touch. Your friend in poetry, ~~~Darlene

Your random thoughts flow with positivity, Darlene. I love them:) ~ Like your footnote, too. Randomlings remind me of notelets held by small magnets on a fridge! ~ paul
