A Stranger Like Me

The rain pouring outside the window pane feels like a parade Well the words I heard and the words I used to say Before the rain betrayed erased the compliments and complex of the grey A friend, well possibly more I'm starting to see what I've been so blind to the effects, how can it be she's a stranger to me a stranger like me Cliche I know but I've been searching for a girl like that but I'm too far away The possibilities I want to present itself cast me out to sea How far away am I appearing to be How far away I am right now I guess I'm just trying to find my way out The corners of my mind fade in and out along with the rhythm of the repeating drums setting off like sirens...
