A Spring Roll

A spring roll! You brought me a spring roll!
A mouthful and thank you.
Shrimp! - You warn me.
Allergic to?
A slow chew.

You're lucky I said.
No allergies.
But thank you.
There's less fear.
All clear.

Better late than never.
I forgive you.
More coffee.
Won't turn blue.
Some wash-brew.

and PHEW !

a good story! very funny that you have taken a bite before you are asked if you are allergic to shrimp--i have had similar social interactions (after the fact) and at least you didn't have the grace to spit it out! (as did one of my male friends!)
