A Special Someone (Wrote this in junior high school when I was 13.) What has just happened to me? Thought that my heart would be Taken away and then set free Oh, so charming to me was she. Her lovely lips and flirting eyes Did make me start to realize Never could she tell me lies Beneath all her laughs and sighs. Yes, I am aware she surely knew My thoughtful love for her is true And how much it grew and grew Right from Cupid's loving dew. If and when you were to go away Will miss you every night and day And over and over I would pray Return and with me be sure to stay.
