A Spark of Positivity

Fear of ignorance that which one can escape from... a lone candle light in the bowel of darkness leads to the sunshine of life. © Harry J Horsman 2012

7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7...I saw a movie that burned with ignorance this afternoon with my spouse....Mississippi Burning (Gene Hackman). It highlights the core of your poem, Harry. If all the lone candle lights MERGE, then love can conquer the ignorance! Thot-provoking tanka. Hey, hope the eyes are doing better since last week. Read the blog from Mrs. Horseman and I was troubled to hear of your health issues. DO EVERYTHING THE DOCS TELL U...we can't bare to see u not here! GWendolen

Harry, I neded "A Spark of Positivity" today and your poem provided just that. Fear, like prejudice, is based on ignorance, but faith can help us find our way to the light again. Beautiful tanka, my friend. My computer crashed and I am out of town borrowing a friend's computer until I can get my new one installed. Hope life is treating you well! Love, Carolyn
