A Sonnet To Venus From Mars

In case you vow to drown my love in debt, Without my mind inclined to see the trap— I hope you know, I live and thrive in threat, I'll torch the bridge before you reach the gap. The will I sow, I do, with what I reap, And all the trash I use to make my bed— The seed you plant for me within my sleep, Is set to wrap like vines around your head. If mirth is born of fire inside your heart, You'll burn yourself to death the way you are— For I will hide the truth I could impart, To laugh and watch you rip apart your scar. So if it's hell by which you wish to fare, By all the means, I'd love to take you there.

I was just wondering what type of Sonnet this falls in to? A beautiful work.

I'm not sure actually. I am an uneducated writer, meaning that I never went to college. Actually I'm a high school dropout. So I'm not sure how to categorize most of my writings. I did look up what a sonnet was once and the definition I read was 10 syllables per line, with 14 lines, the first 12 with alternating rhymes and the last 2 lines rhyme the same. So that's how I write my sonnets. As to what actual type of sonnet that is considered, I do not know. Thank you very much for the compliment.
