A Soft Kiss
As the sun plants a soft kiss, good bye
And leaves its imprint upon an evening sky
Rich reds, soft pink and violet hues
At times observed by oh, so few
He marks the path for sister moon
For he knows that she will follow soon
Countless stars accompanying her, shine ever bright!
Across galaxies afar this coming night
All creatures alive must stop their toil
Seek rest, refresh and humbly extol
What child-like wonder and surprise, this brings
As captured is the perfect song that nature sings!
