A Social Gaffe

Maybe I'm committing a social gaffe but when someone falls, I have to laugh. For just a moment I feel guilt and disconcert before rushing over to see if they've been hurt. Belly laughter is contagious It tickles my fancy; it's outrageous how quickly giggles get out of control, but laughter is good medicine for the soul.

Loved this Jenna can relate to every line and sentiment in this. After reading what happened to you on Mark Kavanagh comments page i really wanted to show my support for you. Couldn't quite get my head around it. But was so in awe of the dignified way you handled yourself. Pure class Mam

Research has indicated that laughter eliminates pain. This poem amused me.

Yes, there is that momentary laughter. You're right. Very perceptive... The challenge is, perhaps, to stifle its release outward, out of concern for the other's misfortune. Profound, Jenna -- a menu for thought. Thanks, Gershon

I can stifle a sneeze, but laughter? not so easily done. Thanks for your perception, Gershon. I am so sorry to laugh first and then rush to their aid.

Weird that the first impulse is to laugh. Thanks, Jan.
